Birch Cabin is a rustic log cabin, the third cabin on the right as you come down our drive-way. Birch Cabin has 2-bedrooms with one full size bed in each bedroom, a combination living/dining/kitchen area and a bathroom with stall shower.
This cabin has all the amenities you will need to be comfortable during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, glassware, utensils and silverware. Bed linens and pillows are furnished as well. We do ask our renters to provide their own bath and kitchen linens, however, if this is inconvenient, please let us know.
The cabin offers a front porch where you can sit and look out over the spacious yard and sand beach volleyball court and has a 'side-ways' view of the lake that looks out at picturesque Dollar Island in the middle of the channel.
This cabin also offers a nice lawn area to gather with family, fry up the catch of the day or barbeque your favorite recipe. All cabins at Les Cheneaux Landing come with a picnic table and kettle style charcoal grill.
Renters of Birch Cabin also enjoy and have access to Les Cheneaux Landing's 250 feet of waterfrontage, sandy swimming area, sand beach volleyball court, basketball court, horseshoes, swing set, docks and spacious yard where you can play a game of softball, croquet or your favorite yard game.
A beautiful new dock was installed spring of 2020 and can accommodate most any size boat, so bring your boat and cruise through the protected channels of the islands. We also have fishing boats and motors available for rent by the day or week.
Birch Cabin is one of eleven cabins at Les Cheneaux Landing Resort, 1158 S Park Ave, Cedarville, MI 49719.
Some of the cabins at Les Cheneaux Landing are named after nearby area islands. Birch Island is a small, privately owned island, one of the 36 Les Cheneaux Islands that line the northern shore of Lake Huron. Beautiful stands of birch trees line the shores of the islands and there is a secret spot where locals go to swim off their boats in a sandy cove, nicknamed, 'The Birches.'
