11- Marquette Cottage, Les Cheneaux Islands, Cedarville, MI

Marquette Cottage sits front and center on Les Cheneaux Landing's grounds with full views of Snows Channel and Marquette Island. This two story, four bedroom cottage is one of our largest and most popular properties and can comfortably sleep 8-10 people.  With one bedroom on the main level and 3 separate bedrooms on the second level, there is space for all to spread out. The downstairs bedroom has one full size bed. Upstairs there are four full size beds and a set of bunk beds.

Marquette Cottage recently had its entire kitchen remodeled complete with new cabinets, flooring and countertops. This large and light kitchen also has a nice eat in table and plenty of space for cooking large family meals. The main level open floor plan has a spacious living room and dining room that leads you to a full porch overlooking the waterfront. The porch is a great place to get lost in a book, watch the boats go by and enjoy an evening drink with friends and family.

This cabin has all the amenities you will need to be comfortable during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, glassware, utensils and silverware. Bed linens and pillows are furnished as well. We do ask our renters to provide their own bath and kitchen linens, however, if this is inconvenient, please let us know.

The main level bathroom has also been recently updated and has a bathtub/shower.

All cabin renters at Les Cheneaux Landing have full access to the yard, sand beach volleyball court, horseshoes, swing set, basketball court, sandy swimming beach area and docks. A beautiful new dock was installed spring of 2020 and can accommodate most any size boat.

Each cabin at Les Cheneaux Landing has its own picnic table and kettle style charcoal grill. So fire up your grill and barbeque your favorite recipe, gather at your picnic table or walk across the street to Snows Bar & Grill for their fish fry or famous 'Snows Burger.'

Marquette Cottage is one of eleven cabins at Les Cheneaux Landing Resort, 1158 S Park Ave, Cedarville, MI 49179.

We have named some of our cabins after nearby islands.  Across the channel from Les Cheneaux Landing and Marquette Cottage lies Marquette Island (named after Father Marquette), the largest of the 36 islands that line the northern shores of Lake Huron. Many private cottages and picturesque boat houses line the shoreline of Marquette Island and the protected bays and sheltered coves of the island are perfect for kayaking, canoeing, fishing and scenic boat rides.
